SPRING TIDES - An exhibition at Creative Melbourne Gallery

If you are dreaming on sun, sea and sand head for the Creative Melbourne Gallery & Studios this month and enjoy SPRING TIDES. The exhibition features work by Melbourne Festival Artists Mark Dale, Stevie Davies, Steven Mcloughlin, Thomas Petit, Patrick Twiss Prentice, Cynthia Twiss Prentice, Trish Scullin, Peter Watson and Cheryl Wilbraham - you can almost smell the salt on the air!


The exhibition opens on 27th April and will be open 10am - 4pm Wednesday - Saturday until 21st May.

To open the festival we have the cult cabaret show Fish Pie. It is an evening of surrealist comedy joy set on the high seas. Featuring the finest alternative acts in Yorkshire. This is show of delights for those that adore bright colourful characters, original songs, dance, puppetry and absurdist comic theatre.

Stainsby Festival 2022 ...And - We're Back

Yes that’s right, we’re back full of the joys of Spring. And, along with the flowers, the planning for this year’s Stainsby is leaping into action - well creaking anyway. Unless there’s a sudden outbreak of new Greek letters (Omega, anyone?), this year’s Stainsby Festival is from the 15th-17th July. Here we are in April and it’s looking good.

Anniversary Concert Showcases Unique Talents Of Region’s Own Professional Orchestra

Derby-based Sinfonia Viva, the East Midlands’ professional Orchestra, will officially celebrate their 40th anniversary with a glittering concert at Derby Cathedral on Wednesday May 4.

The diverse programme will feature newly-commissioned work, seasoned favourites with audiences throughout the past four decades and highlight Sinfonia Viva’s continued commitment to inclusion.
