We are devastated by the news of the war in Europe and our hearts are with those trapped by, or fleeing from needless conflict. All profits form this show will go towards the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This includes all profit from ticket sales and bar receipts. To show your support and help those in need, all you have to do is come along and enjoy DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA – and maybe pick up a snack or drink – it’s all for a good cause.

New Mills Festival 2022 dates 9 to 25 September

As well as having the opportunity to work with like-minded creatives, studio holders at Haarlem work in a Grade 2* renovated English Heritage mill building of historical importance. Studios are warm and bright, and there is an exciting programme of contemporary exhibitions and events.

High Peak Junction

From DIY TV programmes to current trends and ‘hacks’ on social media, this hands-on exhibition showcases DIY through the decades, reflecting the changing attitudes to our homes and encouraging a new generation of DIY-ers. It showcases objects associated with DIY and explores how DIY is changing as we learn more about the importance of sustainability and healthy living spaces and materials.

You’re invited to share your own DIY disasters on our ‘Bodge-ometer’ and make a medal for your home improvement heroes!

We are running an online event about A Parcel of Patterns, the children’s classic novel about the Eyam Plague by the late Jill Paton Walsh. We have invited four authors, who have also written about Eyam, to discuss the legacy of Walsh’s book and why the story continues to inspire writers, especially following the Pandemic.
