The CEO of Derbyshire’s specialist child exploitation charity Safe and Sound, has been named as a finalist in a national awards scheme recognising and celebrating the role of women in business and society.
‘Gaia’ artwork, Derby Cathedral, September 22nd to October 16th
Visitors to Derby Cathedral this autumn will be able to experience an astronaut’s view of the world when the stunning ‘Gaia’ artwork comes to the city as part of its worldwide tour.
‘Gaia’, which in Greek mythology means the personification of the Earth, has been created by UK artist Luke Jerram whose previous artwork ‘Museum of the Moon’ came to Derby Cathedral in 2019.
50 acts join the line-up as the festival promises to be the largest event of its kind in 2022
The most outrageous trip down memory lane, BACK 2 FESTIVAL is returning for summer 2022, with a line-up boasting over 50 artists from the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s! The 2022 event will take place from Thursday 30th June – Sunday 3rd July with improved access and room for even more festival goers. Going into its sixth year, BACK 2 FESTIVAL is moving back to where it all started at Catton Park in Derbyshire.

What with everything that's been going on (or in most cases, NOT going on), it's been nearly three years since the last Festival. That's three whole years since we all met up for a weekend of music, dancing, a drink or two and the sheer celebration of being together with friends again in Stainsby's magical fields. Ask yourself, have you forgotten how good it feels?

The Summer Show is opening very soon - it promises to be an exhibition full of colour and movement: imbuing a sense of Summer throughout the gallery space!
As always everyone will be warmly welcomed, both to the opening on 25th June (2-5pm) and the gallery whilst the exhibition runs through until 7th August.
Work will also be available to view online via our website once the show has opened.
