To open the festival we have the cult cabaret show Fish Pie. It is an evening of surrealist comedy joy set on the high seas. Featuring the finest alternative acts in Yorkshire. This is show of delights for those that adore bright colourful characters, original songs, dance, puppetry and absurdist comic theatre.

Ladies Voices

Saturday 30 April, Civic Centre

Ladies Voices formed in September 2019. The group is versatile and sings a range of styles of music to include pop, rock and musical theatre.The concert will be in two halves. The first half will include a mixture of contemporary items, mainly from musical theatre. The second half will focus on the 1940s to include music by The Andrews Sisters.

Jayne Darling

Join us for a good ol’ sing-a-long with the fantastic Jayne Darling! Professional, experienced & authentic, Jayne Darling is a well respected and established 1940s vocalist popular with the public and re-enactors. Having performed at some of the biggest events across the UK and Europe she is known for her beautiful and passionate voice with a spirit that personifies the era.

DanceDaze

Sunday 1 May, Civic Centre

A fabulous opportunity to see the talent that is DanceDaze. We always love these guys being part of the festival line up and never tire of their high energy show. Formed in 2006 by Rich Hawke, Dancedaze quickly become a world beating street dance organisation for kids of all ages and abilities. Since 2013 Dancedaze have competed at the UDO World Street Dance Championships and have had various crews placed in the top 7 in the world. 2014 Dancedaze were crowned double World Champions at Under 10 & Under 14 level.

Summer Showstoppers

To close the festival we have a fantastic opportunity to come and listen to the extremely talented Andrea Ryder (Soprano) and Mark Cunningham (Tenor). This evening they present songs from classic musicals and famous arias from the world of opera.
