Coffee Morning
Come and join us this Saturday for our monthly coffee morning. You will find a lovely selection of homemade cakes, fresh tea and coffee and friendly faces. We have a large and welcoming hall for friends and family to enjoy or grab a coffee and cake to go while you head into town or go out for a walk.
You can also just pop in to see what we have coming up in our event programme, purchase tickets, find out more about getting involved and become a member.

A warm welcome to LEVEL Centre’s new board members

Level Centre are delighted to welcome four new members to its board: Omar Khan, Ness Brooks, Rebecca Brown and Julie Usherwood.

LEVEL is a combined arts centre in Rowsley that aims to ‘Celebrate the Art that Difference Makes’. It works with learning disabled adults, disabled creatives and the wider community. With the introduction of new board members, the board is now representative of the varied communities that LEVEL serves. 

Derwent Valley Mills is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its inscription on UNESCO’s World Heritage List

Derwent Valley Mills, the East Midland’s only World Heritage Site is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its inscription on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Since inscription, we have been the lead partner in managing and protecting the site, and hosting the officers who carry out that work.

You can join in the celebrations at Cromford Mills and Canal Wharf on Saturday 16 July, from 10am to 4pm.

Derbyshire Film Makers Produce World’s First Hybrid AI Animation

Two Derbyshire filmmakers are set to release a world first in animation having used artificial intelligence to pioneer a brand-new filmmaking process. 

Directors Bethan Coolin and Samuel Poyser have combined traditional filmmaking with cutting edge AI modelling technology which has helped them to bring their vision to life.

Deskbound staff put their best feet forward with 1,202 mile walk to support refugees

A team of employees from a busy Derbyshire marketing agency are taking on a whopping 1,202 walk to support refugees in troubled parts of the globe who must trek many miles in search of safety.

A group of ten staff members from MacMartin, a full-service marketing agency based at the Bartonfields Centre in Church Broughton, are putting their walking shoes on during lunch breaks and evenings in order to get their miles in before the end of June.
