Glossop Creates Presents 'A Local Winter Story Trail'

A Local Winter Story Trail, celebrating the magical art of story telling, and in dedication to the creative legacy of Dame Hilary Mantel,  officially launches Saturday the 26th of November!

The trail launch coincides with Glossop's Christmas Lights Switch On. It will run throughout the festive season until 6th January 2023. 

Christmas Craft Market at Hilton Village Hall

Come and join us for our Christmas Craft Market on the 17th of December at Hilton Village Hall Derby 11am-1pm.

We have lots of wonderful stall holders selling beautiful handmade products.

A handmade raffle, refreshments and Mince pies.

The Mercia Pizza van joining us as well as the Candy Cottage and a Mulled wine vendor. 

We have face paints for the kids and send a letter to Santa post box.

The Sing for Supper choir will be joining us for some Christmas songs.

Timms Celebrates 130 Years Of Serving Local Communities

Buxton International Festival and Norwich Theatre launch a ground-breaking new co-production for 2023, ‘The Land Of Might-Have-Been’.  This bold new musical is built around the songs of Ivor Novello and is loosely based on incidents in the early life of Buxton’s pioneering feminist and pacifist Vera Brittain and the intriguing lives, loves and motivations of those closest to her.
