Fred Thelonious Baker at Spital Arts

On Saturday November 26th. Spital Arts are excited to present the very talented, one and only Fred Thelonius Baker.
We are very fortunate to have been able to book Fred as he is currently touring the world with Soft Machine.
Fred is a local Chesterfield resident  and originally from Tibshelf, he is a virtuoso Jazz  and Bass Guitarist . He is much in demand as a session musician and solo artist, having performed with Courtney PIne, Robert Wyatt, NIgel Kennedy and Phil MIller amongst others.

FORMAT is seeking volunteers to help realise the next festival.

We are looking to create a team of enthusiastic volunteers from all backgrounds to help organise and deliver different aspects of the festival.

FORMAT23 includes an ambitious programme of exhibitions, events, talks and portfolio reviews, working with over 200 international photographers, curators and industry professionals.

UK’s biggest vitamin maker up for award after helping the local community during COVID

 

Britain’s biggest manufacturer of vitamins has been shortlisted for an award for its management through the difficult times of the COVID pandemic, and its support of the local community.

IVC Brunel Healthcare, which employs 550 staff and produces vitamins and supplements at its 30,000 square metre state-of-the-art base in Swadlincote, has been named a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year at the East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Business Awards.
