Specialist Derbyshire charity Safe and Sound has expanded its weekly outreach programme into parts of Erewash and South Derbyshire in a bid to raise awareness of the support available to protect more young people from child exploitation.
Safe and Sound supports children and young people across Derbyshire who are victims of or at risk of child exploitation which includes online grooming sexual exploitation, County Lines, Modern Slavery and trafficking as well as supporting the wider families and raising awareness of the issues in local communities.
At Artcore Gallery, we are exhibiting "Circling the Square: Visions of an Unmade City" by artists Ryan Heath and Katy Hawkins. The exhibition is an accumulation of what the artists have been working on during their residency with us at Artcore. Coming up in June, we also have a talk by Ryan and Katy, a new exhibition opening of "52 Cameras in 52 Weeks" by Tony Kemplen, and an exciting exhibition at Charnwood St, "Shape Your Future". Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming events and exhibitions which will be advertised on our website throughout the month.
Digital visualisation and immersive tech studio Bloc Digital are supporting the global shift to digital integration and communication with the launch of virtURL®, a new virtual events and product showcase platform.
The Derby based company, which pioneers business and industry use of immersive and creative technologies, has announced the industry roll-out of its new digital online solution which combines person-to-person communication and networking in a customisable, interactive, virtual environment.
Derby Market Place is changing. Later this month a large marquee will be erected on the city centre alfresco dining space ready to host live entertainment, markets, festivals and more throughout the Summer and into the Autumn.
Haarlem Artspace invites applications for 2 studio spaces 10.5meters on our top floor, and £232.80 on our ground floor (16.28meters), and a kitchen space (£275 per month). All our studios include wifi, light, and power.

These videos, specially for kids, take you through the process of making your own light-up bug from a milk carton.
