Present Tense, Future Perfect?

This month, we received 84 applications towards our residency Present Tense, Future Perfect? It was a mammoth task to choose only two artists to be in residence with us over the next month but we are happy to announce who they are! Joining us as artists in residency for the Present Tense, Future Perfect? Residency is Thomas Wynne and Kelly O'Brien, both Derby-based artists. Here is little more about them.

Artcore Associates

Artcore wants to expand and diversify our pool of associates. Becoming part of the Artcore Associates would give creatives an opportunity to approach Artcore to help them realise a project or initiative that is still in the ideation or developmental stage.

Derby Rises

To celebrate the city's emergence from quarantine, and easing out of lockdown, we invite you to join us for Derby Rises, a socially distanced evening of celebration and entertainment.

Derby Rises is part of Derby CAN (Creative Arts Network), a three-year, multi-partner Arts Council England funded project to work, co-curate and co-create with different communities.

Local People Asked For Their Views on Virtual Appointments

Patient health and social watchdog care Healthwatch Derbyshire is asking local people the reasons behind why they have not accessed virtual appointments with a doctor, nurse or carer during lockdown as part of a new research project.

The aim is to understand the knock-on effects of COVID-19 on Derbyshire residents who have either been unable to access virtual appointments by telephone or video or who have chosen not to.

Expanding Local Charity Launches Property Search

A specialist child exploitation charity is looking for new premises in central Derby to enable it to expand its team and support more young people and their families.
