Six award winners!

An exhibition celebrating six of our artists who have won prestigious awards:

In order to observe Covid19 guidelines we will not be able to have a preview of the exhibition. However, if you buy an original painting by any of these artists, you will receive complimentary bottles of estate wine, supplied by Vintage Expectations Wine Club. 

 

Cycling gets back on track at Derby Arena

Indoor track cycling is set to resume at Derby Arena from Monday 14th September for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, following confirmation today from British Cycling, the sport’s professional body.

British Cycling is working closely with all venues to support a safe return to indoor activity. It will be a phased reopening, with accredited cyclists initially allowed to return. Indoor competition is not yet permitted, but wider participation will be allowed over the coming weeks and months as guidance changes.

The Derby Witness - Call out for participants

As part of this year’s Derby Feste, members of the public are invited to submit lines of text summing up their experiences of Lockdown to be included in a new poem called ‘The Derby Witness’.  

The poem, comprising of 49 lines (one for each day of lockdown before restrictions were eased) will be written across the city of Derby for Feste weekend on the 26th and 27th September.
