Men – how do you feel about health?

We're working to improve the health and well-being of men across the county and we want to know what you think.

We want men who live or work in Derbyshire to take a few minutes to fill in an online survey about how they feel about health and wellbeing.

It takes between 10 – 15 minutes and you could be in with a chance of winning a £25 voucher for taking part.

LEVEL Residency Lab - open for applications

In 2021, LEVEL launched the Level Residency Lab, a research and development opportunity for professional artists who either identify as Disabled or whose work is suitable for Learning Disabled people and the wider community working across visual, digital and performing arts.

The scheme has been a huge success, and we’ve supported 16 artists so far including Juke & Lake of Open Theatre, Maral Mamaghani, John Whall, Hubbub Theatre Co and Billy Read. Here's what Daniel Longhurst, a recent residency artist, had to say about their time at LEVEL:

Belper Community Play 2023 - It's happening in our town!

Hot news in case you haven't heard - the Belper Community Play received the full grant application from the Arts Council so there will be a play in Belper, Spring 2023.

The planning has begun so we are reaching out to everyone that we spoke to last year. So, individuals, community groups, activity groups, anyone that asked about it and that we came into contact with.

Calling All Makers – Final Chance to Apply for Assemble 2022 at the Museum of Making

Calling all makers! Following a fantastic response to last year’s launch event, ‘Assemble, Derby’s Making Festival’ returns to the Museum of Making on Saturday 22nd October, featuring special guest makers Aardman Animation.

In 2021, Assemble welcomed 50 makers, showcasing themselves and their work, with over 900 members of the public in attendance, and this is your final chance to get involved – applications to exhibit at this year’s Assemble close 5pm on Friday 12th August.

Supporting Grassroots Live Music

The Arts Council England has launched its final year of grant funding to support activities that help grassroots music venues and promoters to deliver and develop their work. A total of £1.5m funding is available, with grants ranging from £1000 - £40,000. Please circulate amongst your relevant networks. More information about applying here. Deadline 31 March 2023.
