It has been a busy few months for us at the Barn, through a combination of welcoming customers back to the Barn for the first time since November, and much more besides. This summer sees the return of GNCCFonline, an opportunity to buy unique and exceptional contemporary craft direct from 120 specially selected makers over the weekend of 17-18 July.
When the pandemic forced the cancellation of the much loved Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fairs in 2020, the show organisers embraced the digital revolution and with a defiant ‘the show must go on’ spirit, launched the GNCCFonline with the aim of supporting independent makers.
There is still time to get involved in our June events! All for free and all for you.
Déda’s doors are back open and the team is excited to welcome you inside for a summer of dance, events and exhibitions.

With Covid-19 safety measures in place, including test and trace, increased cleaning and reduced class capacity; Déda is approved with the Government’s ‘We’re Good to Go!’ industry standard.

The extension to the lockdown rules announced tonight means they don’t expire until the day AFTER the Festival is supposed to finish (and there’s no guarantee they won’t be extended again). So, thanks to the government's announcement… we’re NOT on. Gutted.
Well we’ve put all our resources and planning into running from the 16th to 18th July which was hard enough during the pandemic, so we're not going to be pulling any rabbits from any hats in a hurry.
