We are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day with emergency cover only – pre-booking is highly advised.
From the 27th onwards it's business as usual until New Year's Day, where we're closed with emergency cover only. Again, pre-booking is highly advised. From January 2nd we're back to full strength and business as usual.

From asking customers to bring their own containers for fresh produce and reducing use of cling-film as far as possible to cutting out plastic water bottles and straws completely, the family-owned farm shop says everyone has a part to play in reducing the impact we have on the planet.

Revo sets standards, recognises achievement and sparks ideas across the UK retail sector, and the independent coffee brand was up against some huge industry names such as Primark, IKEA and JD Sports.

Wathall’s Memorial Service Gives Families Time to Remember Loved Ones

More than 800 people are expected to attend a special early evening Service of Remembrance and Hope at Derby Cathedral on Thursday December 12 organised by family-owned funeral directors, Wathall’s.

Wathall’s, which is Derby’s longest established independent funeral directors, organises the memorial service every year – inviting families who have lost loved ones during this and past years.

They will be joined by members of Dandelions Bereavement Support groups in Derby and Ashbourne as well as representatives from local churches, hospitals and nursing homes.

Wathall’s Further Expands Support For Bereaved Families

Wathall’s, Derby’s longest-established independent funeral directors, has teamed up with The Salvation Army to collect unwanted clothing that will make life easier for bereaved families and help people in need.

A free collection service is available for textiles, clothing, accessories and shoes when families are ready to sort through the clothes and possessions of a loved one who has passed away.

Alternatively, families can drop off bagged items at one of Wathall’s offices in Derby city centre, Ashbourne, Alvaston, Borrowash and Burton-on-Trent.

FORMAT goes to China

FORMAT Director Louise Fedotov-Clements and a team of curators and artists attended the Lishui Photography Festival, taking with them the FORMAT group exhibition Sleight of Hand, which opened to record visitor numbers.

A unique world-class art sculpture trail in Derby for summer 2020

Businesses that have not yet signed up to be part of the Derby Ram Trail are being urged to ruminate no longer, as less than ten Rams remain available for sponsorship.

To date, over 20 businesses have registered to take part in the project which will be one of the largest mass-participation art events ever to be held in the city.
