With the promise of Covid19 vaccines coming onstream in time for us to gather together once again in Derby, next March 2021, the team are busy preparing for FORMAT21 in both the real and virtual worlds.

Ashgate Heritage Arts (AHA) has written a musical which is an adaptation of Chris Nickson’s book, “The Crooked Spire.”

In July, a Showcase was broadcast as part of Buxton Festival Fringe. After this project, AHA was awarded an Arts Council England grant to continue the development of the story.

The Crooked Spire (showcase), first shown at Buxton Festival Fringe July 2020, is currently playing at Brighton Fringe Festival online until 8th November.

The really exciting news is that we have been awarded an Arts Council England grant to develop...

A chance to find out about the last financial year (when we could actually do something!) and also to think about how to plan for the coming year.

Buxton Fringe opens for entries for its 2021 festival on December 1st with an improved entry procedure designed to be even easier for performers to use.

Relaxing Stretch and Handpan Music with Jen and Ines

Join Ines and Jen for a relaxing afternoon with some gentle movement and handpan music.
We will stretch our bodies and do some relaxation with Jen.
Then we will get cosy and listen to the beautiful sounds of Ines playing the handpan.
Bring a blanket.

Glossop Book Fest has started a monthly newsletter to promote authors, illustrators, bookshops, writing groups and anything book related. We would also welcome online events, workshops and activities. The newsletter will be sent out to our mailing list and posted on our social media pages for people to share.
