From 12pm to 4pm the 70 or so guests enjoyed some wonderful festive fayre, socialised with friends old and new and were thoroughly entertained by the Rolls Royce Ladies Choir.

The new Normanton Library was officially opened to the public today, marking the start of four days of events to celebrate and showcase the new community facilities.
Derby’s Mayor, Councillor Frank Harwood, cut the ribbon at the new library, which is based at St Augustine’s Community Centre in Almond Street. The building has been refurbished and upgraded to bring local services together and create a multi-use community hub.
