Multi-million pound deal announced

A deal has been brokered by Bondholder Salloway Property Consultants, on behalf of Derbyshire Constabulary, for a new multi-million pound police station in Derby.

The £9.5 million development will be linked to the existing fire station on Ascot Drive, on Bondholder Ivygrove Developments’ Dunstall Park site, reducing operational costs for both Derbyshire Constabulary and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service. More than 200 staff will be based at the station.

Derbyshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner and Bondholder Hardyal Dhindsa, said the move typified the exceptional working relationship between the two emergency services.
