Derby College Students Prepare To Pitch To Gogglebox Star

Students across Derby College are gearing up to take part in an innovative entrepreneurial programme devised by former teacher Baasit Siddiqui who regularly appears with his brother and father in Channel 4’s ‘Gogglebox’.

Mr Siddiqui has been a star of the television show for the past six years and has set up Siddiqui Education – running inspirational workshops for schools and colleges across the UK.

Derby College Students Join City Centre Clean Up

Nearly 90 Public Services students from Derby College’s Broomfield Hall Land-based and Leisure college in Morley joined Derby City Council’s Streetpride staff and councillors to help paint, clean and spruce up the streets in part of Derby city centre.

Derby College Chosen For Targeted Careers Training

Derby College has been chosen as one of 12 further education providers in the UK to be part of an innovative careers advice and guidance programme.

Two Derby College Services for Students team members will be specially trained under the Association of College’s targeted programme which is backed by Government funding through the national Careers & Education Company (CEC).

Timms is recognised as a leading Family Law firm with a Care team working across its offices in Derby, Burton-upon-Trent, Swadlincote and Ashby.

The firm organised its fourth annual conference recently in Derby which was attended by more than 90 delegates from across the East Midlands.
