Every March, the world’s finest performers and teachers of klezmer gather at a tiny village in the Peak District. What is klezmer? The soul-wrenching, joyous music, song and dance of the Yiddish-speaking Eastern European Jews, now firmly established on the World Music scene and loved by Jews and non-Jews alike. Following a sell-out event last year for our 10th Kleznorth, we are delighted to announce another end-of-course public concert by our world-leading teaching faculty.

Drawing immensely from her dual Punjabi and UK heritage to display poems layered in dense imagery, a battle plan for the future. How to emancipate yourself from centuries of right and rituals to cast a new light on multicultural Britain.
For The Harley Open exhibition, we invite artists whether professional or amateur to enter their work in to our popular competition.
The Open Exhibition is a celebration of 2D art, and gives artists, whether just starting out and experimenting, or experienced professionals the perfect opportunity to showcase their work.
Using a variety of media you will paint a piece of art, taking inspiration from the spa town of Matlock Bath.
Naturally mindful painting is a good way to relax and unwind from everyday stress.
This workshop will inspire you to express emotion in your work with texture and colour.
Materials are included but please bring your own canvas or paper, and wear old clothes.
All abilities are welcome, refreshments included but bring a packed lunch. Pay and display parking is available onsite.
