Arts Festival 2018- Chesterfield College

Chesterfield Collage announce the schedule for their 2018 Arts Festival set to take place in June. From film to photography, ceramics to fashion, the event is a real celebration of everything creative.

Here is a quick rundown of what's happening at this year's festival:

22 June, 6-8pm - Preview evening - Chesterfield College and West Studios 

An opportunity to see a cross-section of all of the creatve talent the arts festival will feature. Experience a fashion show preview, film screenings and exhibition installations from digital technologies, visual arts, photography, ceramics, fashion and graphics students.

This event is open to current students, parents, applicants starting next year, those interested in a creative course and also employers across the creative and digital sectors.

8-29 June - West Studios - Exhibition of works from the Young Artist of the Year Schools Competition

22 - 26 June - Digital Technologies exhibition - Heartspace, Chesterfield College - A chance to experience the latest developments in virtual reality, robotics, websites, apps, 2D and 3D games as well as a retro blast from the past with classic arcade games on arcade machines built by the students

22-29 June - Exhibition - The Dome, Chesterfield College - An opportunity to see a cross-section of all of the creatve talent the arts festival will feature. Installations include visual arts, photography, film, ceramics, fashion and graphics work

25 June - Media - Film Screenings - Cineworld, Chesterfield, Alma Leisure Park - A night screening the films of level two and three second year students. In addition we're holding a very short Oscar-style awards ceremony to recognise student achievement. Industry professionals will be in attendance on the night and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking

27 June - Fashion Show 2pm (schools) / 7pm (public) - Heartspace, Chesterfield College - A fully styled and choreographed fashion show showcasing student work from across our Fashion and Art and Design courses. Alumni from these courses will also showcase pieces from their current collections. A selection of fashion work is also being exhibited in the college's Dome building which we welcome you to explore as these sit alongside exhbitions from several other creative mediums. RESERVE TICKETS HERE
