Students will start experimenting with acrylics and variety of water based materials. Working on water colour paper at first and then canvas. Students will be encouraged to loosen up and will flick, throw and pour the paint and experiment with mark making using a variety of brushes, knives twigs etc…
We will use different materials to create texture and explore the use of gravity to utilise runs and dribbles in a creative way. We will experiment with creating different foregrounds in a landscape to create an interesting focal point. Most of all we will create and have fun.
