Come and see the beautiful Well Dressings at Holymoorside! Once the subject for the well dressing design is selected – an anniversary or celebration – the team meets to prepare the drawings. Flowers and other natural materials are donated from gardens in Holymoorside, and some are found in the hedgerows around the village. The well dressers in Holymoorside use whole flower heads and seedheads rather than individual petals to dress their well. The village dresses 3 wells on the same site and the wells are floodlit.
