In this session, we’ll be exploring some of the most important elements of scriptwriting for those new to or wanting to find out more about the form. With a look at formatting your work, the balance of actions vs dialogue, ‘stage directions’ and much more, this session will give you a broad overview of the form for you to build upon and try with your own work!

Session One of science-fiction’s best known subgenres, Cyberpunk’s depiction of ‘low life and high tech’ have been captivating readers for fifty years. In this session, we’ll explore the key elements of the genre, take a look at its history and develop fresh ideas for writing in the field through writing exercises.
