What's On this October Half Term?
We have plenty of fun, FREE and spooky activities to keep the whole family busy over half term
Join us for a ghoulish journey around the Museum, capturing demons as you go with our Japanese Ghosts and Demons Trail! Try your hand at some spooky origami in Art Hub or make your own ghostly mask inspired by our Japanese Ghosts and Demons exhibition. Take a stroll over to Pickford's House to make some Halloween puppets in our holiday session Crafty Tuesdays
Don't forget our temporary exhibitions! Japanese Ghosts and Demons: Woodblock Prints from the Ashmolean Museum is the perfect sinister treat for the Halloween period. At Pickford's House, artist Tim Shore explores the legacy of John Flamsteed (1646 –1719), the first Astronomer Royal, in Derby Mean Time.
November sees the start of our festive activities! Make a decoration or gift for someone special with needlework specialist Claire Remer at Homemade Christmas on 16 November.
