Henry Moore exhibition, family-friendly activities
and Christmas celebrations

An exciting touring exhibition from the Sainsbury Centre has come to the Museum of Making! Henry Moore: Threads of Influence features early life drawings and late prints. Don't miss the creative corner where you can improve your sketching skills with a 10-minute drawing challenge.

Join us at Pickford's House this Saturday to explore how mushrooms help us make breakthroughs as part of Being Human Festival 2022, the UK’s national festival of the humanities. Discuss ideas of home, resilience and community through arts and crafts activities. This event is free and open to all.

Want to learn a new skill? Check out the new courses coming up at the Museum of Making. Learn how to make your own organic cotton blouse with local textile artist Abigail Wastie, and make your own cookie cutters with An Intro to Tinsmithing led by Workshop Technicians Arthur and Andy.

Dust off your dancing shoes as Lucille return for a night of music at the Museum of Making! Known for energetic live shows with their contemporary Soul & Blues sound, 'One Night with Lucille' is not to be missed.

This Christmas at Pickford’s House you shall go to the ball! Join us as we take a magical trip to panto-land with themed entertainment and activities suitable for all the family. Inspired by The Tiny World of Toy Theatre exhibition.

As the days get shorter, come along to the Museum and Art Gallery to brighten up the dark days and create magical effects in free monthly session, Tots Make and Do: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Lights. Suitable for children 2-5 years old with their carers.

Let's Make Christmas is back and bigger than ever! This year we're showcasing over 50 local makers to celebrate contemporary making. Pop down to the Museum and Art Gallery and the Museum of Making to find the perfect gift this Christmas.
