Visit our Peak District & Derbyshire Christmas Tree!

We’ve taken promoting the delights of the Peak District and Derbyshire to a new level this Christmas – by decorating a tree with specially-donated baubles from the area’s amazing attractions, accommodation providers and producers!

As part of the famous Festival of Christmas Trees at the Crooked Spire Church in Chesterfield, we’ve created our own Visit Peak District & Derbyshire Christmas Tree – complete with dozens of brilliant baubles donated by our members!

From beautiful designs offering a snapshot into some of our most iconic attractions such as Chatsworth and Bolsover Castle, to striking decorations like a caravan-shaped bauble from The Camping and Caravanning Club, the entries have been amazing!

There are baubles highlighting local beer and gin, baubles showcasing beautiful Blue John Stone, robins made from Denby and even wooden bicycles which celebrate the area's great cycle routes.

The tree will be on display from 16th November to 1st December alongside hundreds of other displays. Last year, over 25,000 people visited the Crooked Spire to see the trees, which are decorated by a variety of local people, charities and organisations.

Pay a visit and see how many businesses you can spot on our tree! Tag us in your photos on social media and don’t forget to use #UniqueDistrict.
