Evening Lecture on the 'Pentrich Rising'

We are delighted to confirm that a member of the Pentrich and South Wingfield Revolution Group will join us to give a lecture about the events of Pentrich rising for the Old Dronfield Society. This was an armed uprising in 1817 that began around the village of Pentrich, Derbyshire. It occurred on the night of 9th /10th June 1817. The talk coincides with a special exhibition by the group in our gallery.

Relax and enjoy a  Pre dinner drink in the Coffee shop before being ‘piped’ into the Gallery. The Haggis will be honoured accompanied by Stuart Gullen on his Bagpipes before dinner is served.

We're delighted to welcome James Wilton Dance to Dronfield on Saturday 6th April as the group performs LEVIATHAN. This is an epic re-imaging through contemporary dance of Herman Melville's seminal novel, Moby Dick, by multi-award winning choreographer James Wilton. This performance will take place in The Peel Centre at 7.30pm and tickets are available from £12.50 for adults and £8 for under-16s.
