Say It Loud! Tour!

Baby People are proud to announce its ’Say it Loud’ tour – a celebration of UK LGBT black music. 
 

“In a music genre that has an uncomfortable past (and occasional present) with homophobia, it is unfortunate that great music that is made by members of the LGBT community isn’t not championed in the way it should. Because of this, some black music artists still don’t feel comfortable to be open about their sexuality. Baby People is putting on the ’Say it Loud’ tour, not as a gay tour for gay audiences, but as a celebration of great UK music that is made by people that happen to be LGBT and black.” -Baby J

The tour features some of the most exciting new talent in UK black music including, Elektric, Rob Green, Namiwa Jazz and the platinum selling Floacist of Floetry.

Dates are East Midlands based, kicking off with a stage in Derby City Centre during Derby Feste on Saturday 26th September. Check back soon for all the confirmed dates including Leicester, Nottingham and Longeaton.
