Ripley Well Dressing 2017
We are looking for willing artists to take up the opportunity of creating the Ripley Well Dressing 2017.
This year, the theme for the Well Dressing is 200th Anniversary of the Pentrich Revolution, so lots of scope for ideas!
The Well Dressing is made using fabric petals and glue as opposed to the traditional clay methods. The effect is still that of a Well Dressing with less mess and easier preparation and transportation.
The boards and materials to create the Well Dressing will be provided. All you need is somewhere to create your masterpiece, along with, of course, your artistic skills!
The Well Dressing will be displayed in Ripley Market Place (we will arrange transportation) at our Spring Festival on 21st May 2017. It will be blessed at 10.30am on that day.
