Old Glossop Victorian Christmas returns on 6 December

High Peak Food Bank are holding an event in the afternoon of 6 December to raise cash for charity.

‘Old Glossop Victorian Christmas’ is a street market with entertainment, Christmas tree, carols, lantern parade and heaps of nostalgia.

It is being organised by local community groups and charities and last year attracted hundreds of people – many traders said it was their best trading day of the year. The event is in the streets of Old Glossop, an eighteenth century village on the outskirts of Glossop and runs from 2-5.30pm.

Any Made in Derbyshire members who are interested in having a stall at the event should email paul.highpeakfoodbank@gmail.com, telephone 01298 214926.

The cost is a suggested donation of 10% of takings which will help to pay for the event and any proceeds will be shared between the local foodbank and Old Glossop Residents Association.
