In Memoriam Online Exhibition and Silent Auction Invite

In Memoriam Online Exhibition and Silent Auction Invite

We would like to invite you to our silent auction, as a part of an online exhibition "In Memoriam". This week, we launched In Memoriam, an online exhibition of postcard sized works which can be viewed here.

Bringing together 28 artists from across Derby and Derbyshire, In Memoriam provides a space and platform for people to reflect on the impacts of the global pandemic, personally and collectively. This online exhibition presents postcard sized works that have been made using a range of forms – including photography, painting, and collage. Many of the artists involved in the project have made works which reflect their daily routine and personal experience of the pandemic.

We are launching a Silent Auction of the works presented in the exhibition this Friday 26 February at 4pm via Zoom. You can register your attendance to this event following this link.

Proceeds of the silent auction will be shared between the contributing artists and Artcore’s wider In Our Thoughts project - which is our a year-long participatory project supported by mental health charity MIND, and in partnership with Sahahra, which supported communities in response to the impact of the global pandemic.
Visit our online exhibition and register to bid for one of these personal artworks, which will open this Friday at 4pm and close on Friday 5 March.
