#LibrariesFromHome Resources

Whilst we unfortunately continue to remain closed due to the current pandemic, we are continuing to provide you with as much of the service as we possibly can. Through the Libraries website you can access our catalogue of e-books, e-audio books, and a large digital selection of popular magazines and national newspapers. You will need to be a member of the Library before you can access these, but if you are not already then fear not, as you can also join the Library online as well. All of these resources are completely free to all of our Library members.

We know that many of you are also keen researchers of your family history and you can now access Derbyshire Parish Records temporarily for free through Ancestry.

We also have our new website section called ‘Libraries from home’. This has a collection of interesting website links which we hope you'll find useful. These are broken down in to three sections:

  • Children and Young People Websites for children and young people to help with home schooling and activities to keep children and young people entertained.
  • Culture and Entertainment Websites to keep you entertained, such as virtual museum tours, digital archives and more.
  • Digital learning and Support Help for you to navigate the digital world and find reliable information.

Why not try something new?
