Big Dates in Spring

March has provided Inspirative Arts with many opportunities to do what we do best and explore taboo topics using creativity to improve well-being.

26th March to 2nd April: Down Syndrome Awareness Week
Inspirative Arts offer creative well-being services and arts therapies to support people with autism. We have found that our services develop focus and engagement, improve communication skills, increase confidence and self-worth, build independence, provide a safe space for expression, improve awareness and management of emotions and behaviors.
 

April-Stress Awareness Month

It is important to recognise that we can all get stressed at times. Stress can manifest and express itself in various ways; some include, anxiety, ill-health, anger. Inspirative Arts off creative well-being and therapy services that enable individuals to recognise signs of stress and manage them, leading to improved well-being and happiness.

14th-20th May-Mental Health Awareness
Anyone can experience poor mental health. Mind state that "Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year . In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week. " Inspirative Arts offer Arts therapies and creative wellbeing services to support people through these difficult times.

21st-27th May-Dementia awareness week
Dementia can have an impact on many areas of life, not just memory. We provide creative, expressive services for individuals with dementia that enable them to regain sense of self, identity, improve well-being and happiness, make connections and live in the present moment. 

Therapeutic Thursday- Understanding and Managing Emotions

Inspirative Arts are offering monthly therapeutic workshops; using creativity to explore taboo topics, improve emotional well-being and develop self-awareness. These workshops are for people in the community who can independently book onto the course.

Mays' workshop is going to be "Understanding and Managing Emotions".
