How Do I Book A Courier Service?

If you have never used a courier before it can be a bit daunting not knowing how we operate, services we provide, the correct van for the job, or simply how to obtain a quote or book a collection. Don’t panic! Our team are here to talk you through any aspect of your delivery and offer you the best options to suit your needs.

Talk to one of our guys – they only need the basic information below to enable them to give you a quotation:

  • What are the goods you are looking to move?

  • How many pieces do you have?

  • What are the sizes? (Length x Width x Height in centimetres)

  • The total weight of your goods (in kilograms)

  • The collection and delivery postcodes.

  • Time for collection or when it needs to be delivered by.

Your quote will based on a mileage rate for the required vehicle, plus any additional costs such as road tolls and congestion charges, etc. (These are charged out at cost)

To book a collection

If you have already obtained a quote then ring our Ops team, quote the job and the price quoted and they will book this for you – it’s that simple!

If you have an emergency delivery and have not already had a quote then don’t panic, our team will allocate you the nearest available vehicle based on your requirements – optimum pickup time is 30 – 40 minutes – and they can give you a cost immediately.

We do allow up to 30 minutes loading time, but to avoid any unnecessary waiting charges, please try and have goods ready for the booked collection time.

As for payment, if you do not have an account our alternative payment methods include debit/credit card, PayPal and Bacs transfer.

We can work out any timings for you, for example:

  • How long is the journey from A-B?
  • Estimated time of delivery (ETA’s)
  • It needs to be at “X” for 10am – what time do I need to have it ready for collection?
  • The recipient closes at “Y” – do you have enough time to make the delivery?

We can provide any additional information whilst your delivery is in progress. If required, you can ask for real time updates on the progress of your delivery. We will keep you informed of any delays due to traffic or weather – enabling you to keep your customers in the loop. On completion, you can request a proof of delivery (POD) which will can be given verbally or forwarded by email, text message or post.
