Green fleet manufacturer success for Toyota

Bondholder Toyota Manufacturing UK has won the Green Fleet Manufacturer of the Year title in the 2019 Business Car Awards.

It becomes the first recipient of the new award, which recognises the efforts of car makers to provide more environmentally efficient business fleet products and services.

Toyota Manufacturing UK has its 580 acre production plant in Burnaston Derbyshire employing 2,605 people, last year producing 129,070 cars.

Mark Roden, Toyota GB Operations Director, said: “Businesses are increasingly looking for cleaner, more environmentally focused vehicles that, as well as being efficient, have the reliability, quality and competitive cost profiles they require."
