Dance4’s CAT is the Centre for Advanced Training which provides access to world-class training opportunities and spaces for young people aged between 11-18 years with exceptional potential in dance. The scheme is funded by the Department for Education and they welcome applications from anyone with a passion for dance. They have several opportunities available for young people and their teachers to find out more about the scheme and what it can offer:

FREE School Workshops:

Workshops are available for secondary schools across the county. Booking can be arranged for term-time within school hours, between January - April 2020.  The CAT workshops are an exciting opportunity for students who show potential in dance. Workshops are 2 hours in length aimed at years 7,8,9,10 and 11 and will be led by one of our professional CAT artists. FREE Open Taster Session, Derby:

Saturday 07 March 2020 – 2.30pm-4.30pm, Déda, Chapel Street, Derby, DE1 3GU

Dance4’s CAT is offering a FREE open taster session in Derby for young people aged 11–17.  The session will include contemporary technique and creative tasks, as well as the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.  Booking is essential for this taster session.
