EARLY ARTIST CALL OUT FOR BELPER ARTS FESTIVAL 2019

Such is the interest in Belper Arts Festival 2019 that the call out for events is earlier than ever.
Although nine months away, Belper Arts Festival already has a comprehensive programme
scheduled for 2019. The event, which will take place from 4 May to 1 June, has already scheduled
a Broadway star, the hugely popular Arts Trail, the return of poet and wordsmith Ian McMillan, the
Short Play Festival, Voices Of The Valley, a Captive Audience triple bill of plays, Open Houses,
Woollen Woods and the Singing Trail.
“Interest has never been so great,” said Co-Ordinator George Gunby. “The call out for events is
much earlier than previously. It's important that people tell us what they want to organise earlier
rather than later.”
The Event Application Form can be downloaded from the Festival web site,
Applications are being accepted immediately with a closing deadline of 31 January 2019.
“The deadline is the deadline. That guarantees that your event will get the maximum amount of
publicity through the brochure, flyers, the web site, social media and media releases,” said George
Gunby.
Events that come in after 31 January will feature on the web site and Facebook only.
Tickets will go on sale from 1 February and will include a specially discounted Season Ticket.
