Materials needed!
Last week we advertised our wreath making workshops - and, after extremely high demand, these are almost all sold out already! We now need help sourcing material for these workshops. We'd be grateful for any donations of greenery including ivy and holly from the week commencing Monday 13th December - but not before, as we still need it to be fresh in time for the workshops taking place on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th December. If you can provide us with anything, please leave it with one of our garden volunteers.

In addition, we will also need similar material for when we're trimming the Barn up for Christmas decorations - please provide us with any ivy, holly or other greenery from week commencing Monday 15th November.

Dronfield Hall Barn: Open Weekends

Final wedding closure of the year 23/10
After an exceptionally busy wedding season, this weekend will feature our final wedding of 2021. Congratulations to all the happy couples who have got married at the Barn over the past few months.

The conclusion of the wedding season means that the Barn will now be open at weekends for the remainder of the year after this Saturday. So, if you'd like to join us for a coffee and slice of one of our delicious cakes, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Please help us share this message with your friends and family.

Can you help?
Do you have some free time to spare? Are you passionate about helping Dronfield? Then why not join the Dronfield Civic Society Committee?

DCS has been a loyal supporter of the Barn for many years. A couple of years ago, our garden volunteers were proud to receive a John Robert Clough Award (above) from the Society, and more recently DCS made a donation towards our signage at the front and rear of the Barn.

The Civic Society has also been involved with plenty of other fantastic projects and done a lot of great work around our town that you may not be aware of. But they’re currently looking for new people to join their committee so that the Society can continue to function.

It would be a shame to lose this fantastic organisation, so if you or anyone you know can help, do get in touch.
