In Derby – Christmas gift ideas with a difference

The countdown to Christmas has well and truly started, but if picking the perfect gift for a loved-one is giving you a headache, Derby LIVE and Derby Active have put together a fabulous list to give them an experience to remember.

For thrill-seekers, Derby Arena’s track could be the ultimate gift with the steepest section a whopping 42 degree angle. This year, Derby Arena have put together a Christmas gift package, which includes a voucher for a one-hour track session and a pair of track mitts. Priced at £37.99, it is available from Derby Arena.

The track mitts are part of the Derby Arena’s very own cycling kit range which has been created exclusively by British designers NoPinz. The gift voucher can be used by both beginner and experienced track cyclists. Those who have yet to go on the track can use it for stage one of the track accreditation, which has four stages in total. A coach will lead them through all four stages in fun and exhilarating sessions which can see participants go from complete novice to confident track cyclist. Those who are already accredited can use the voucher to purchase an hour on the track.
