Community groups throughout Derby and Derbyshire will be able to bid for their share of £15,000 over the next 12 months.

There will be three rounds of funding in 2016/17, with £5,000 available in each round.
Groups can apply for up to £2,500 for work that benefits the local community.  This can include:

• Promotion of Derby City or Derbyshire County heritage
• Contribution to educational development
• Benefit to local communities
• Increased engagement between the University and the community
• Widening participation in education
• Environmental sustainability
