Beyond The Spectrum: Celebration Event

You are all invited to a very special online event to celebrate some of the magnificent writing produced by participants of the Beyond The Spectrum project for autistic writers which began back in January, and which will conclude this week.

The event will comprise performances and live readings from a group of writers of all ages, and promises to be a really special afternoon. If you’d like to drop in, you will need to register here.

In addition, Beyond The Spectrum just received the very disappointing news from ACE that they were not selected for the next round of funding, which is a blow for all of us.
 
The community will be seeking more clarity from the assessors, although they understand that the bid was either ‘strong’ or ‘met’ across the various criteria. They thought highly of the project’s quality and originality, its ability provide high quality experience, it’s partnerships and potentially strong sectoral impact.
 
Beyond The Spectrum members remain committed to developing community, and will be applying to alternative funders in the very near future after a short period of reassessment - so they will soon be in touch!
