BELPER CONCERT FOR DERBYSHIRE FLOOD RELIEF IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FOUNDATION DERBYSHIRE

Belper performers have rallied round to support victims of the recent floods with a concert for flood relief.

The show, to be staged at St. Peter's Church on xx November, is in partnership with the Foundation Derbyshire Flood Relief Appeal.

Foundation Derbyshire Chief Executive Rachael Grime said “

Each year lives are disrupted by flooding. This has been brought sharply into focus with the proximity of the recent floods and the disruption caused. With Christmas just weeks away the immediate future looks bleak. However help is to hand. Groups such as the Belper Flood Support Group were quickly into action, supplying relief almost immediately.

This, along with the Foundation Derbyshire Appeal, was the inspiration for the 'Hope and Relief Concert'. Performers are coming forward to contribute their talents and time to a cause that has touched many.

Entrance to the 'Hope and Relief Concert' is by donation. The programme will be announced shortly.

Performances will begin at 7:30pm. Doors Open 7pm.
