BBC Get Creative at Erewash Museum in April

On Saturday 8th April, 11 – 3, the Erewash Museum and Arts Development team are holding a BBC Get Creative ‘Make Your Own Victorian Dolls House’ event.

Visitors of all ages will be able to construct a FREE, Victorian inspired cardboard dolls house using templates. Once constructed visitors will move around the Museum and grounds to different activity stations to add in a kitchen, parlour etc finding out facts about Dalby House as they go.

Storyteller Patrick Ashcroft will be joining us throughout the day telling Rumer Godden’s tale The Dolls House.

BBC Get Creative is a campaign run by a group of cultural organisations to celebrate and support the everyday creativity happening in homes and public spaces. It aims to inspire people to try something new at home or at a Get Creative event and to encourage people to share their own examples of everyday creativity.
