MEMBER: The Roses of Eyam 350 Project
Wednesday 17th - Saturday 20th June at 7pm.
A promenade production of The Roses of Eyam to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the plague outbreak in Eyam. This innovative production uses the very cottages and street where the plague first took hold. It is cast almost entirely from the Eyam villagers of today, some of whom are descended from the survivors of the plague. The audience moves with the cast during the action of the play involving them in the heartbreak and even humour of the situation.
