MEMBER: The Grand Pavilion

The Grand Pavilion Matlock Bath is an Edwardian building originally built in 1910 to entertain and shelter tourists visiting the village. Today this historical building with a chequered past is undergoing a substantial refurbishment project with the aims of bringing it back into the communities use for what it was originally intended; entertainment.

Owned by a charity ran by local people and passionate volunteers who realise the potential of this beautiful building, it is available for hire and hosting of live events, which all bring in much needed funds for the project.

In recent years The Restoration Café has opened its doors to the public on the ground floor.
Our Cafe serves speciality hot drinks, a wide choice of soft drinks and a selection of alcohol, together with tasty light meals and sweet and savoury treats and snacks. All proceeds raised from the café go directly back into restoring the building.

Help repair, maintain and restore this amazing building by hiring rooms, offering to help with time and/or resources and by attending events. It’s a huge project and restoration work is always on going, but in time The Pavilion will be Grand once again!
