Having been established in 1974 the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust have been responsible for the rescue of many historic buildings throughout Derbyshire. Using their skill and knowledge the trust identifies neglected and abandoned historic buildings and then brings them back into sustainable new use.

The trust is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity which is passionate about the heritage of Derbyshire and will work with its own in-house and external professionals to provide help and advice to other groups and individuals who share a passion for historic buildings.
