The workshop price includes up to 10g of silver to use to make your jewellery. Additional silver, if you require it, is available to purchase on the day at £1.25 per gram. For a 'chunkier' style bracelet or bangle you may need 20g or more silver.
Tea and coffee provided. We will take a break halfway through the day for lunch, which is not included. There is the onsite museum café, the local high street has cafés and bakeries, or you can bring a packed lunch if you prefer.

Making Silver Bracelets & Bangles Workshop

Spend a day in the studio getting creative making stunning silver bangles and bracelets.
On this one day course you will receive step-by-step tuition in classes of no more than 2 people in a friendly, relaxed environment. I will teach you how to create a circular or open cuff style bangle, and how to personalise it by adding stamped letters and textures with hammers. I will also show you how to make shaped charms to hang from your bangle.
You will learn traditional silversmithing skills, including how to cut, file, form, solder and polish silver to create your silver bangle(s) or bracelet(s).
You will make and finish at least one silver bracelet on this course, depending upon how complicated your design is. Some people make 2 or 3 in a day.
