Our ever popular Furniture painting workshop, whether you just want to learn a new skill, paint an inherited bit of furniture or update a kitchen, this workshop teaches you all the basic knowledge and a bit more besides.

Anneliese, your teacher for the day has been teaching this and other art subjects for over 20 years, She has demonstrated furniture painting on the stage at Grand Designs both in London & Birmingham and Good Homes in Manchester. She has worked for several magazines and has even owned her own furniture paint company. She is also a qualified interior designer so is well placed to help you woth your colour selections.

Everything is provided including equipment, products, tools & a choice of piece of furniture. We also provide Refreshments: Tea, Coffee & snacks, All you need to bring (or nip out for) is your lunch, which we allow about 1/2 an hour for.

Wear an apron if you're a messy worker, or older clothes that don't matter too much.

As well as painting your furniture you will learn how to use decorative papers effectively, learn how to make and use texture paste and successfully use stencils and we also have a Mini paint mixing masterclass.

Part of the fun of the day is also meeting like minded people, we like to have a laugh and everyone is made to feel very welcome.

The workshop is held at The Fox's Den, 21 St Johns Street, Wirksworth, DE4 4DR

It starts at 9:30 -3:30/4:30pm, The door will be open from 9:15am, so please be here and ready to start at 9:30am prompt. (this also gives you time to grab a drink before we start :)
