Belper Goes Green is an annual event organised by Transition Belper. This year there is an addition which is a Fun Palace Marquee. The idea behind Fun Palaces is to give people the opportunity to join in with free workshops in the arts and sciences, their tag line is 'Everyone an Artist, Everyone a Scienctist'.
There will be workshops on how to make willow bird feeders, origami boxes, lollystick weaving, how to give CPR, simple science experiments, eco friendly crafts, make your own water wheel, create a Belper collage, science with the Derbyshire branch of the British Science Association, crafting with local writer Katherine Wheatley and much more.
