• The Real Wordsmiths, talk about the Lakeland Poets - Town Hall, 6.15pm
• ‘The Wordsmiths of Gorsemere’ - Spoof comedy. Town Hall 7.30pm (tickets from Wirksworth Framing Company)
   

Saturday 7th April 

• ‘Matilda’ - Film at the Northern Light, 9.30am. (Tickets from Wirksworth Framing Company)
• ‘Young Writers - create your own fictional world’ with a Emma Pass - event for young adults in the Chip Shop, 2.30pm
• Rob Stamper talks about his new book ‘Ramblings from a Derbyshire Folk Pub’, at Top Ken’s, 1.30pm
• Clare Harvey talks about Dame Laura Knight, Wellspring Church, 2pm
• ‘Derbyshire Noir’, Sarah Ward and Ros Watkins on crime fiction. The Town Hall, 4pm (tickets from Wirksworth Framing Company)
• An evening with Geoff Cope, cricketer, Wirksworth Cricket Club, 7pm (pay on the door.)

• Wirksworth Big Book Day, all day in the Memorial Hall.
• Book Walk, meet in the marketplace 10.30am
• Tony Jones and St John Theatre Company on writing for radio, the Town Hall, 4pm, donations please.
