Louise Fedotov-Clements, Artistic Director of QUAD and Director of FORMAT, will be in conversation with the Midlands based artistic network ReFramed.

ReFramed is a Midlands-based network for Black, Asian and other people of colour interested in producing photographic visual art. It was set up in January 2020 by a team of local, award-winning photographers and curators Andrew Jackson, Sebah Chaudhry, Anand Chhabra and Jagdish Patel.

ReFramed has been established by a team of award-winning photographers and curators who believe that visual arts can play a critical role in shaping civic and contemporary attitudes, initiating collaborative conversations, and changing prevailing thoughts about race, our local environment and our communities..

Fedotov-Clements has been the Artistic Director of QUAD, a centre for contemporary art, film and new technologies in Derby UK since 2001, and is the Director of FORMAT International Photography Festival, which she co-founded in 2004.

As an independent curator she has initiated commissions, publications, mass participation, and exhibitions of art, film, and photography. She is also a regular juror, portfolio reviewer, workshop leader, speaker, and award nominator throughout Europe, America and Asia.
